THE COLONY - A local anti-bullying crusader died of an aneurysm over the weekend.
Debbie Lance was the mother of Montana Lance, who hung himself at his elementary school in The Colony two-and-a-half years ago.
Jason and Debbie Lance gave testimony about bullying to the Texas Senate Education Committee in March 2011.
"The public has been crying 'No more, no more,' and we need to push to get this done," Debbie Lance told the committee.
She suffered from Marfan syndrome and underwent several heart surgeries in recent years.
