The holiday shopping season is in full swing, and every year it seem Americans spend more and more on gifts for the ones they love.

We found three men who have no problem shopping: Michael, Ryan, and Jason. They were kind enough to tell us how much they spent last year. The amounts ranged from $300 to $1,800.

This year, they're aiming for about the same amount or a little less.

The National Retail Federation says that the average person will spend $967 this holiday season. WalletHub analyzed 570 cities and found that those in Flint, Michigan spend the least, with each person shelling out only $69. Naperville, Illinois has the biggest spenders at $2,381 each! But nearby Sugar Land, TX came in second at $2,368.

Where does San Antonio rank? The Alamo City ranks No. 354 on the list, with holiday spending below the national average at $581.

Happy shopping everyone!
