SAN ANTONIO - Staff at the historic San Fernando Cemetery say that there aren't as many decorations on gravestones for Dia de los Muertos as in past years.
Herlinda Pagan has been selling flowers during Dia de las Muertos since she was 13 years old. This year, she says that she's noticed fewer people stopping by.
"Yesterday, we didn't make much, just $35. Last year we made $200,” she said.
Owner Ramona Barrientes said that she's been in a spot across from San Fernando Cemetery for decades and that she's not sure why it's slow this year, but anticipates business picking up for All Souls Day.
Pagan said that even if business does not pick up, she'll be out selling rain or shine.
