Thursday night at the AT&T Center will see an atmosphere unlike any it’s seen before.

The San Antonio Spurs will host the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of their opening round playoff series as the Silver and Black try to get their first win of the series.

But what hangs over everything is the absence of Gregg Popovich, who won’t be on the sidelines one day after his wife, Erin, died of an illness.

Condolences have poured into San Antonio from all over the world as Pop goes through this difficult time. But the games go on, and the Spurs will be playing with their coach and his loss weighing heavily on their hearts.
