The Democratic National Committee is suing Russia, the Trump campaign, and Wikileaks, claiming a far-reaching conspiracy to help Trump win the 2016 election.

The lawsuit, filed in federal district court in New York, alleges that Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the Democratic Party's computer networks and sharing the stolen material, according to the Washington Post.

“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement.

Special counsel Robert Mueller continues to investigate whether there is any potential ties between Russia and Trump's 2016 campaign. President Trump has publicly denied any wrongdoing or "collusion."
