Police say a man was stabbed by a family member late Tuesday night on the west side.
Officers were called out to a home in the 2800 block of Ruiz, near the intersection with West 24th Street around 11:45 p.m.
Police say a man’s uncle came home drunk and started fighting with him. The man’s grandfather stepped in at some point and stabbed the uncle several times.
The man who was stabbed was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Detectives are investigating.
