Wet road conditions led to a major accident on Interstate 10, with one woman ending up pinned underneath an 18-wheeler.
Officials at the scene near I-10 and Buckskin say the accident was the result of a chain reaction crash. Another accident caused the 18-wheeler to jump the median into westbound traffic, right in front of the woman's truck.
The woman became trapped in her vehicle after her car was pinned underneath the 18-wheeler.
Some of the lanes of the Interstate had to be closed while the woman was rescued and taken by EMS to University Hospital.
Officials have not yet released word on her condition.
