HOUSTON (AP) -- A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man and woman suspected of burglarizing a suburban Houston beauty salon and stealing its hair extensions -- not once, but twice within a month.

A statement Thursday from the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the Touch of Class Salon has been targeted in the Mission Bend subdivision just outside southeast Houston. The first time was before dawn on Dec. 24, the second was before dawn Jan. 16.

Security video shows two suspects, a man and a woman, wearing white hoodies and with the woman masking the lower part of her face.

Hair extensions have become the targets of a wave of thefts nationwide. Beauticians' websites list extension prices of $200 to $750 per package.
