A man heading to his car ended up shot in the neck during an attempted robbery Friday night.
The shooting took place in the Hobby Lobby parking lot at Hwy. 281 and Bitters at around 11:15 p.m.
The victim says he was just trying to walk to his car when a guy came up, tried to rob him and then shot him in the neck.
He remains at University Hospital in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the suspect was last seen leaving in a Toyota Celica on West Avenue.
