It started as a call for shots fired and ended up as a high-speed chase.
Investigators say at around 10:15 Friday night they were headed to the scene of an alleged shooting at La Manda and Duron when they spotted the suspects' vehicle.
Officers followed them from the ground and by helicopter from La Manda near Vance Jackson and then onto the highway.
Along the way, two suspects reportedly bailed out of the car.
The driver finally crashed his car at I-10 and Hildebrand where officers arrested him.
The two who jumped from the car still on the run. But, not long after the chase ended, police say they received a call on San Angelo Street where a homeowner fired shots at tow people believed to be trying to steal power tools.
No injuries were reported.
