San Antonio's annual Martin Luther King Jr. March is touted as the largest in the country.

This year organizers expect 100,000 adults and children to participate. The march is the culmination of a weekend full of events commemorating the renowned civil-rights leader.

The San Antonio MLK March is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Monday. Walkers will gather at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy, 3501 MLK Dr., and the march ends at Pittman-Sullivan Park.

Coach Herman Boone, whose inspirational story was depicted in the 2000 film "Remember the Titans," will be the speaker for the MLK Commemorative Program immediately following the march. Grammy-nominated Gospel artist Marvin Sapp will perform.
