An arrest warrant claims that Rodolfo Ruiz Mendoza tried to lure his babysitter's 12-year-old daughter to Mexico to have sex through text messages. The 38-year-old was arrested Thursday on a charge of on-line solicitation. He was also booked on his second DWI charge and an immigration hold in the Bexar County Detention Center.
San Antonio police said Mendoza started texting the victim over the summer. She reportedly told police he, initially, texted her approximately 3 times asking her to have sex with him. In fact, the document claims in one message the suspect told the young girl he wanted to take her to Laredo at 5 a.m. and eventually into Mexico to have sex.
Police said the girl's mother found cell phone and the text message. However, she did not call the authorities. Instead, she reportedly confronted Mendoza. But the warrant said the determined suspect bought the 12-year-old another cell phone.
According to investigators, he sent the victim messages under the names "Bear" and "My Baby." The warrant said his propositions were in Spanish. He's alleged to have said "Vamos hacer el amor en Mexico," which translates as, "We are going to make love in Mexico." In addition, he allegedly texted the young girl, "I do love you, and yes, I will be taking you to Nayarit."
Police got the case after the victim's mother found the second phone in late September.

No doubt they should send back but I have to say that the mother should called the cops the minute she found out the first time. things could have ended worse by not take immediate action. we don't know if he's around other children, things like this should be reported right away.

I PRAISE THE MOTHER FOR PROTECTING HER DAUGHTER, BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE COPS INSTEAD OF CONFRONTING HIM. WELL ITS TIME TO TAKE OUT THE TRASH , SEND HIM WHERE HE BELONGS AND THEN THROW AWAY THE KEY SO HE WONT BE AROUND LITTLE KIDS. THEN HE WILL BE SOMEONES GIRLFRIEND!

Another parent who was rather slow on the draw, but eventually did the right thing. This is another exhibit of the strong need to increase border protections and work toward elimination of illegal immigration. It is good that another one is off the street, ut how many more are ut there still attempting to prey on our youngsters?
