SAN ANTONIO -- A manager at a north-side strip club was stabbed six times after a large fight broke out just before closing time early Sunday morning.
Two groups of customers at XTC Cabaret, 2023 Sable Lane, started fighting around 3:45 a.m. Police said the manager, in his early 30s, was stabbed while trying to break up the fight.
Witnesses told police a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans ran outside during the fight and returned with a knife, triggering the metal detector at the club's entrance.
Police said the fight involved six to seven Hispanic men who were last seen fleeing in a silver Cadillac Escalade.
Another man was stabbed once, but refused to be treated.
The manager was taken to University Hospital.
