The U.S. Postal Service is getting the stamp of approval in a new international study.
Despite its financial troubles, the post office is getting its job done better than other countries' postal systems, according to a British study.
The study looked at 20 postal services around the world and found the U.S. Postal Service was No. 1 for efficiency.
The author of the study noted, however, that while it is efficient, it's doing so in a dying industry.
Email has been chipping away at "snail mail" for years and is part of the reason the U.S. Postal Service lost $5 billion last year.
