SAN ANTONIO -- Police are looking for three men involved in a shooting that left the victim fighting for his life.

The victim, in his mid-20s, and a woman were sitting in a car in the 200 block of Dryden when police said three Hispanic men, also in their mid-20s, approached the car and demanded the couple to get out.

Officers said the couple refused, prompting the suspects to pull out at least two large guns and open fire.

Even after being shot, the victim was able to drive away several blocks and pull into a gas station on West Avenue, just off of I-10, police said.

“One of the shots hit the victim in the arm and traveled all the way into his abdomen, which creates the problem this could be life threatening,” said San Antonio police Lt. Lee Rakun.

Rakun said officers are still looking for the suspects and don’t have a motive for the shooting, although they don't believe the shooting was a random act of violence.
