Local police are relying on a 10-year-old girl to help piece together the clues after a Wednesday morning fatality.
Authorities say 47-year-old Kirsten Walker was driving in the 2600 block of Babcock Road at around 8 a.m. when, according to her 10-year-old passenger, she suffered some sort of diabetic episode and lost control of her vehicle.
Walker reportedly turned, cutting across all the eastbound lanes of traffic and a sidewalk before driving into a grassy field where she crashed into a large oak tree.
The exact cause of Walker's death is pending.
The girl was taken to University Hospital.
