SAN ANTONIO -- A boy was hospitalized over the weekend after police say his dad lost his temper over the child's sloppy shirt.
Officers were called to Christus Santa Rosa Hospital on Saturday in report of an injured child.
According to an arrest warrant, the boy was disciplined by his father at 6119 Kingston Ranch because the shirt he was wearing wasn't nice enough.
Roger Sauceda, 28, is accused of grabbing the boy by the collar, trying to take off his shirt and demanding him to go look for the car keys.
Believing his son was moving slowly, Sauceda started swinging the child around by his left forearm and threw him to the ground, according to the warrant.
The warrant does not include the boy's exact age, but states that he is younger than 10.
Police said Sauceda has a criminal arrest history of a weapon's charge, family violence and violating a protective order.
Officers said they believe he is a danger to his son and the boy's mother.
Sauceda was arrested and charged with injury to a child. His bond was set at $25,000.
