SAN ANTONIO -- Firefighters say two roommates escaped from their two-story house late Thursday night after a fire alarm alerted them to a quickly spreading fire.
The fire started in the attic of a house in the 300 block of East Evergreen around 11 p.m., firefighters said.
Damage was estimated around $80,000.
