San Antonio police said they've caught a man who is accused of causing at least $1,000 in property damage at a local auto shop.
Around 3 a.m. Tuesday, officers got a call from a witness who claimed she saw Mark Andrew Garcia, 25, tagging a delivery truck at the auto shop, which is located along the 700 block of Nogalitos.
When police arrived, they noticed Garcia and another man standing outside the business. Officers said Garcia tried to run away, but he was caught a short time later.
Detectives found paint cans inside Garcia's vehicle. He has been charged with evading arrest and commiting property crime.
The man seen with the suspect was questioned by police and then released.
