McDonald's is hungry to hire new help.
Tuesday the fast-food chain held a super-sized hiring blitz.
The company is trying to fill 50,000 positions nationwide - all in one day. Jobs include full-time, part-time and seasonal help.
"People call it a mcjob, but these mcjobs are turning out to be great careers where they become acutal McDonald franchise owners themselves, or run a multi-million dollar corporation," says Richard Acosta.
In San Antonio 600 jobs are up for grabs.
It's the largest hiring initiative in the company's history, and is so huge it is expected to lower the nation's unemployment rate.
