Those who have homes in the Rivermist subdivision are still teetering on whether they should stay or go.
But now, there's a tiff between that subdivision's homeowners association and the builder.
Centex sent a letter to homeowners assuring them of the work to permanently fix a failed retaining wall.
They say it's the "Cadillac of retaining walls." And, Centex urged homeowners to not allow the homeowners association to file suit against them.
The HOA claims, "the board is not in a rush to file any litigation" and "to make sure this work is done appropriately."
The work to fix that failed retaining wall isn't moving so fast. The weekend rains really slowed things down.
But, Tuesday the city said the stabilization work should be done by April 30.That's a little later than the original date, because of rain, and requested soil samples that needed to be taken and analyzed.
