A jury has found a local man guilty of half the charges against him.
Robert Piazzi has been convicted of four counts of child molestation, but acquitted of four others.
The 40-year-old man was accused of sexually assaulting a five-year-old child.
Authorities say the girl eventually told a family member, leading to Piazzi's arrest in 2007.
A jury is currently deciding his sentence.
