Fake utility inspectors scam San Antonio's least suspecting: the elderly

Homeowners, beware. There are criminals posing as utility workers and ransacking area homes. Police say they are targeting San Antonio's elderly population. Reports have been coming in since October and so far there are at least 20 victims - all between the ages of 75 and 95.

It's called "the fake inspector scam," and it happens when criminals pose as utility workers or city inspectors. In these cases the criminals are going after those who are the least suspecting.
