Born in San Francisco, Eileen grew up in the Bay Area but is proud to call the Alamo City her home. A graduate of the University of California at Davis, she earned a bachelor's degree in rhetoric and communications. She comes to KENS with several years of television news experience. Before Great Day SA, Teves worked as a reporter and video journalist at News 9 San Antonio. In 2001 she worked as a bureau reporter in Altoona, Pennsylvania where she covered the rescue of the nine trapped coal miners and the one-year anniversary of the September 11th crash of United Flight 93 in Shanksville. In 1999, the California native got her start at KWES-TV in Midland, Texas as a reporter and fill-in anchor. When she's not working, you just might see her literally "running" around. So far, she's completed 2 full marathons, plus 8 half marathons in Houston, Austin, San Diego and San Antonio. Eileen is an active member of the Asian American Journalist Association, and is a board member of the Alamo Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
