This is when we get this party started. 2012 is only the fourth year for Fiesta Fiesta, well, sort of. The first year 15,000 people attended this event in front of the Alamo, then in its second year it was rained out. So, the numbers could be pretty substantial, but there is plenty of room for the live music, fantastic food, and Fiesta royalty.
In addition to the musical acts, there will be mobile food trucks that are replacing the regular vendors. And to go hand-in-hand with Mayor Julian Castro's drive for a healthier S.A. -- called the Fit Fiesta initiative -- there will be some healthier choices available.
If you really want to feel Fiesta fever, go. It's one of the best Fiesta events of the year!
