Country musician Clay Walker will serve as grand marshal for the 2012 Texas Cavaliers River Parade.
This year's parade will be April 23 starting at 7 p.m. The theme will be "Rockin on the River."
Walker has recorded four platinum-selling albums and has had 31 songs on the Billboard singles chart.
Clay will join Fiesta royalty, festive bands, members of the military and children from across the city as they ride lighted river barges.
Proceeds from the parade benefit more than 30 local children’s charities. Organizers said the parade has raised more than $2 million for San Antonio area nonprofit organizations.
Tickets ranging from $12 to $24 are on sale now and can be purchased by calling 22-RIVER or by visiting http://www.texascavaliers.org. Tickets are also available at The Fiesta Store at 2611 Broadway.
