RANDY TRAVIS ARRESTED FOR BEING DRUNK SANGER, Texas (AP) -- Randy Travis had a little too much fun at his Super Bowl party. He was arrested for public intoxication outside a Texas church early Monday morning. Officials say police in Sanger, Texas, found Travis in a parked car with an open bottle of wine and smelling of alcohol. He was taken to jail and released six hours later. Travis apologized in a statement to The Associated Press, saying it was the result of an evening "celebrating the Super Bowl." He adds that he is "committed to being responsible and accountable." Travis kicks off a North American tour on Friday in Oregon to celebrate 25 years in the music industry.
