'Evil Encore' overtakes SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream

Seaworld's Howl-O-Scream Evil Encore

SAN ANTONIO – October is officially here which means the ghosts and goblins are out to play.

SeaWorld San Antonio’s Howl-O-Scream is back for another season and creepier than ever. This year’s theme is Evil Encore, which is inspired by childhood toys gone horribly wrong as a troupe of demon dolls takes on a life of their own.

Guests will be spooked by Mr. Karver’s creations when they come to life in the newest haunted house, Karver’s Kradle, where the dolls have developed a hunger for souls and are on the prowl.

Along with Karver’s Kradle are four other haunted houses, two of which are located under the stars. In one, guests who dare will be transported to a campsite where the hunters aren’t thrilled about trespassers on their land. If injured, they have the possibility to check into I.C.U. on the other side of the park.

Across the park’s 30 acres, guests will come in contact with over 150 terrifying creatures who roam throughout the park. But beware of the six Terror-Tories like Werewolf Alley and Demon Street. You don’t want to be caught wandering alone.

If frights and screams aren’t your thing but you’re thirsty for a little something extra, there are two themed bars you can enjoy. Watch out, though, vampires are known to roam and some are constantly craving blood.

Howl-O-Scream runs through the month of October on Friday through Sunday night beginning at 7 p.m.
