Maverick Music Festival announces Bastille, Young the Giant as headliners

SAN ANTONIO – The Maverick Music Festival is back with a great concert lineup for the Alamo City.

The 5th Annual Maverick Music Festival announced their concert 2017 lineup on Wednesday with Bastille and Young the Giant headlining.

“From its beginning, Maverick Music Fest continues to evolve and generate unprecedented strength in the community,” said Blayne Tucker, found of the festival. “There is no other festival like Maverick because there is no other city like San Antonio.”

The festival is held in downtown San Antonio at Maverick Plaza in La Villita Historic Arts Village. This year’s festival will be on April 7 and 8.

Other artists include The Naked and Famous, De La Soul, Minus the Bear, Carla Morrison, Book of Love, Small Black, HoneyHoney, and Generationals.

In a press release, festival producers said they’ll ‘unveil additional band announcements over the coming weeks.”

General admission passes start at $99 and VIP Experience credentials are $169 that includes enhanced amenities, food, and beverage along with additional experiences.
