NBA legend Magic Johnson and his wife, Cookie, are scheduled to appear on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday morning, according to a post on the show’s Yahoo!-based official website.
The post states Magic and Cookie Johnson will open up about “overcoming Magic’s HIV diagnosis and their life together now” on the show. It does not reveal exactly when the two will be on the show. The show starts at 7 a.m.
Cookie has a new memoir launching on Tuesday called, “Believing in Magic: My Story of Love, Overcoming Adversity, and Keeping the Faith.” In it, she talks about her life and marriage, including Magic’s HIV diagnosis.
Cookie wrote on her Instagram page of the release, “…I dedicate this book to God. Without Him, my obstacles would have been unconquerable. Always, He is by my side, guiding, directing, and carrying me when I cannot stand on my own...”
