San Antonio Missions 2016 World Heritage Festival

Sept. 7-11. The World Heritage Festival is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Missions as a World Heritage Site. This five-day festival is packed with so many activities like a 5k, a bike tour and a light show on the facade of Mission San Jose. Saturday will also be filled with Mission Pachanga, a day-long music festival from 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. You don’t want to miss out on this massive event!

Foam Glow 5K at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Sept. 9. If you’re a runner this is the ultimate race for you. Not only do you get to run at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, but you get to run in glow-in-the-dark foam. Foam Glow 5K is an experience exposing runners to glowing foam and black lights all around the course. This race is for runners and walkers alike. And once you’re done running you get to party!

Lewis Black The Emperor’s New Clothes: The Naked Truth Tour

Sept. 9. Looking for a good laugh? Lewis Black, the Grammy-award winning stand-up comedian, is coming to The Majestic Theater! He is an international hit being one of a few performers to sell out multiple renowned theaters. You definitely don’t want to miss this event!

Red Carpet Affair: Renaissance with the Stars

Sept. 10. Want to have a magical night? Maybe even go back in time to the Harlem Renaissance? The Tobin Center is bringing forth the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance era all on one night. The variety show features celebrities and the best local entertainers on San Antonio. This event supports the mission of strengthening the organizations, neighborhoods, and ideas that are directly impacting the community.

Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas

Sept. 10. Are you feeling ‘Confident’? Maybe you’re in the mood for some ‘Bacon.’ Well the AT&T Center has you covered because Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are going to be hitting the stage and rocking out in The Alamo City with their ‘Future Now’ Tour. These two have been a dynamic duo on tour along with special guest Mike Posner. It’s a concert you don’t want to miss.

Univision Radio Fiestas Patrias Celebration

Sept. 11. If you’re looking for live music, dancing and more then head over to Trader’s Village where Univision Presents Fiestas Patrias. Mariachis and more will be performing throughout the day so bring your lawn chairs and stay for the day!

University Health System on the Plaza – Cardio Bootcamp

Sept. 11. This 9/11 you can pay your respects to the fallen while also getting a 9/11 themed workout from EnergyX Fitness courtesy of the University Health System on The Tobin Center Plaza. This workout is a gesture in which participants can remember and honor all those who died on this day and in service to others.

Garbage

Sept. 11. Garbage is coming to the Majestic Theater! The band just released their sixth album last month that arrived at number 14 on Billboard 200 chart. If you’re wanting to rock out this event is definitely where you want to be on Sunday!

Bud Light, The Taste at San Antonio River Walk

Sept. 13-15. If you missed out on San Antonio Restaurant Week you definitely don’t want to miss out on this three-day event. The San Antonio River Walk is hosting Bud Light, The Taste that brings locals to Houston Street and the River Walk to sample various culinary dishes from over 20 establishments. Each restaurant will showcase an appetizer-size portion of a signature dish along with featuring beverages such as Bud Light or mixed drinks. Hungry yet? Get your tickets now!
