The road to the San Antonio rodeo began on Friday for hundreds of trail-riders.
Last year, many trail-rides had to be cut short because of frigid weather.
Not so this year's Annual Trail Rides. More than 3,500 riders packed up their gear and started their journey from 12 locations around South and Central Texas.
Organizers say the riders promote fellowship and horseback riding as they head to the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
Most of those rides will end Feb. 10 at the AT&T Center.
