Having the Cowboys here for the last two weeks was fun, it's always nice to get up close and personal with this city's favorite football team. But now that's over and the Boys have moved on, it's time to concentrate on the real "Boys" of fall, High School football.

The season kicks off with the annual Texas Football Classic in the Alamo Dome on August 26Th, a big battle between Cuero and Seguin. But it ends with a big time, nationally televised showdown between Steele and Madison. Those teams feature running backs that most likely will be playing on Sundays, Aaron Green and Malcolm Brown.

San Antonio has become a major player in High School football talent, talent that has gone on to make names for themselves on the college and pro levels.

So get ready, ( the Kenny Chesney song will help with that) the Boys of fall will be performing at a stadium near you very soon, with all the pomp and circumstance that we all know and love. GO TEAM!!!!
