Crowds gathered downtown Friday, August 17 for the Alamo Plaza Better Block event. Food trucks, a historic lantern tour, live music, and chef-prepared al fresco dining kept the atmosphere chill on this warm summer night. The event continues Saturday. Look for a scavenger hunt, adobe-brick making, historic interpretive demos, storytelling and just a heck of a lot of fun as San Antonians experience the plaza in new ways.
