If you have promised yourself this is the summer you are going to make a change in your physical fitness, why not get some great guidance?

Tri-Sition Area is inviting anyone who would like to join a triathlon training group to come out to one of their group training days. There are all levels and it's free! But you will have to sign a Liability Waiver. The best thing to do is stop by the shop first to talk to any one of the staff members. They will help you assess your fitness level and recommend where to start.

Starting June 16Th, there will be groups meeting at the following locations for some great work outs! This is the information from an email sent out by Tri-Sitions.

Swim/Bike/Run:

Where: Boerne City Lake

When : Every Saturday we leave Tri-Sition Area at 6:15a.m.

or meet at the lake at 6:55a.m.

Bike/Run Brick Workout:

Where: Tri-Sition Area

When: Sunday starting at 7:00 a.m.

Long Run:

Where: Tri-Sition Area

When: Sunday starting at 7:00a.m.

Run:

Where: Tri-Sition Area

When: Wednesdays starting at 7:00p.m.

Bike:

Where: Tri-Sition Area

When: Thursdays starting at 7:00p.m.

One of these is bound to fit into your schedule. Remember, there will always be support personnel out there and no one gets dropped or left behind. Marco Garsed leads some of the training groups and owns the store. In case you were thinking about training solo, consider this: he says recently he had to pull a girl out of Boerne Lake, because she decided to cross on her own. She was not part of the training group and started freaking out, thinking she was drowning. After saving her, Marco found out she was on her own and it was the first time she ever swam in open water. Can you believe that? Marco says if she had gone to them, they might have at least guided her and maybe prevented this near drowning from happening.

Well, back to the schedule! The weekend mornings work best for me. I hope to see you out there some time!

If you have any questions about any of the sessions listed below, please contact Tri-Sition Area at info@trisitionarea.com or call (210) 492-4884.
