 Guitar pick dress
Every now and then, it happens.

A guest comes on our show, and long after their interview, they still wow me. A musician we had on today is one of those people. Remember this name.... Elijah Jane.

The thing about Elijah, is that not only is he a gifted musician, he's got to be a creative soul by nature! Is there another guitarist you know of who's designed a woman's dress AND skirt by using guitar picks they'd normally play with?

C'mon! I'm convinced there's a fashion designer trying to get out. The dress and the skirt are too cool! Someone, please contact Vogue right away.

By the time he'd brought his multicolored guitar pick dress to Great Day SA a few months back, it had already been worn by numerous models and celebrities.

The red carpet in Hollywood would never be the same.

Judging from the fit on each woman who wore it, it's clear Elijah knows a little bit about the female form. Ahem.

The coolest part of all, though, is not that the dress was simply "statement making." Elijah actually put it up for auction on ebay so that the sale of it could go to a charity benefitting artists. Talk about using inspiration for good.

Honestly, here's a thought I've had more than a few times: How cool would it be to wear one of Elijah's creations to a hot club, or even on the show? Then, when a woman asks, "Cool ! Where'd you get that?", I'd always have an interesting story to tell.

The truth is though, if I were to pull that off, and sufficiently rock his fashion the way i know i should, there would have to be a WHOLE lot more material, or a little less of me.

Still, it doesn't change the fact that when i think of a garment that's truly fashion forward and worthwhile.... Elijah's get my, well, ......pick.
