It's getting cold in a hurry on Thursday night in San Antonio. Daylight temperatures were in the 70s, but a cold front, wind chill, and darkness drove things down to the 30s.

No relief coming Friday or through the weekend as conditions will be cloudy, cold, and breezy.

KENS 5 meteorologist Jared Silverman says that it could get as cold as 25 degrees over the next couple of days.

Some areas are experiencing winds gusting between 20 to 30 miles per hour.

The high for Friday will be just 39 degrees if we're lucky in San Antonio. Saturday and Sunday will bring temperatures in the mid-20s.

Wind chills will keep things in the 10s and 20s on Friday to the north and in the Hill Country on Friday.
