According to KENS 5 meteorologist Bill Taylor, more rain is on the way and we need it to get out of drought conditions in South Texas.

No severe weather is expected even though there could be pockets of heavy rain and thunderstorms that develop in remote areas.

The best chances of rain will be around 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.

We should stay in the 40s throughout the day on Thursday with things warming up but not necessarily drying out as we get closer to the weekend.
