HOUSTON – Despite only being 4-feet 9-inches, Simone Biles could have a future as a Harlem Globetrotter.

The Globetrotters are in Houston this weekend for three area games and Globetrotter star Hammer Harrison stopped by the World Champions Centre to visit the 4-time Olympic gold medalist.

Biles, a Houston native, gave Harrison a run for his money when she showed him a thing or two around the gym. But when it was time to try her hand at basketball, she didn’t disappoint.

Harrison also spoke to young gymnasts about important life lessons and believing in your dreams, despite what obstacles might come your way.

The Harlem Globetrotters have two games at NRG Arena in Houston on July 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., as well as a game in Cypress at Berry Center on July 9 at 3 p.m.
