The San Antonio Spurs are surging and hope to keep that momentum heading into their matchup versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, their second game on the road in as many nights.

The team's hot streak comes as LaMarcus Aldridge is playing his best basketball of the season.

Tuesday night, Aldridge scored a season-high 32 points on 12-of-21 shooting and added five rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in 35 minutes to lead the Spurs to a 97-91 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. He had 13 points in the fourth quarter to help the Silver and Black outscore the Mavs 35-31 in the period.

Aldridge, San Antonio’s leading scorer with a 21.8 average going into the game, has been the team’s high-point man in 11 of their 14 games.

Earlier this season, the Spurs faced off against Minnesota in their home opener, defeating the Wolves 107-99. Aldridge finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
