A San Antonio high school basketball sharpshooter is in the semi-finals of a nationwide fan vote to decide the best three-point shooter in the country.
Timmy Benavides has had a great year with the Reagan Rattlers, leading the team in scoring with nearly 15 points per game and shooting at an impressive clip of 44 percent from the three-point line.
It’s his impressive long ball that has him as a semifinalist in the 2018 American Family Insurance #DreamFearlessly fan vote contest.
It’s a tight race with semifinal voting closing on Thursday.
