It looked like it was going to be a wet Friday night for high school football in San Antonio but the skies cleared just in time for one of the highest profile matchups of the season.
In a battle of two top teams, it was the Judson Rockets who finally got over the hump and beat the Steele Knights for the first time in history, winning 35-28.
Also, the O'Connor Panther defeated the Taft Raiders 45-28 to stay perfect on the season, the Reagan Rattlers just got by the MacArthur Brahmas in a 38-34 shootout, and the Johnson Jaguars shut out the Roosevelt Rough Riders 42-0.
