The Southside Cardinals can clinch their first ever outright district championship with a win in Floresville on Friday night.

Running back Edward Perez has been a huge part of the reason why Southside could win that district title. Last week against Harlandale, he rushed for more than 300 yards and scored five touchdowns.

Southside improved to 7-2 with the win.
