A photo of a premature baby smiling from ear to ear is brightening up Facebook, encouraging others to share photos of their preemie babies.
The photo by Lauren Vinje shows her five-day-old daughter looking wide-eyed and gleefully at the camera. It was originally shared on the "Love What Matters" Facebook page.
Her post says the baby was born at 3 lbs., 14 oz. "Life is so precious," she said.
"This picture was one I looked at often to get me through the ups and downs of our NICU days."
