SAN ANTONIO -- A spokesperson for the San Antonio International Airport said power surges at the airport could affect passengers arriving and departing Friday morning.

The spokesperson did not give more details, but said the incident was expected to affect passengers arriving or departing from Terminal A.

CPS workers were on scene investigating the power issues.

According to the airport's website, Terminal A with gates A1-A17 is currently served by Aeromexico, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Interjet, Southwest (using gates A9-14) and Volaris.

Operations were mostly normal, but the airport encourages anyone with travel plans to check flight statuses.
