SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Fire Department said a house that was being remodeled caught fire around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The fire broke out in the 2000 block of West Summit Avenue.

Firefighters told KENS 5 at the scene there was no one home at the time of the fire. Firefighters also had to break windows to gain access to the home and control the fire.

There was some damage to a back room.

Firefighters are still investigating this incident and said a short circuit could have caused the fire.
