SAN ANTONIO -- Two bodies were found on one street in one hour on the city’s west side.

Police were called to the first location in the 600 block of Hamilton around 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

Two men were having an argument over a woman. That's when one man pulled a gun and shot the other one in the head.

The victim was taken to University Hospital hanging on for life.

A spokesperson for the hospital said he was in critical condition Monday morning.

The shooter ran off, and police sent out a chopper to look for him. Police have yet to catch the suspect.

The second body was found about 40 minutes later, just before 2 a.m.

Police were called a few blocks away from the first scene at the fire station near San Fernando Street.

A group of men dragged a 37-year-old man to the station and tried to dump his body off there.

Police detained the two men who told them their friend was shot in the stomach. They said the victim was shot at a party in the 2600 block of Vera Cruz.

The victim, Pedro Segovia, was rushed to University Hospital.

The hospital said he was in critical condition Monday.
