SAN ANTONIO - There's no honor among thieves but it seems at least some have brand loyalty.

San Antonio police arrested a man Monday night who, they said, bought more than $10,000 worth of stolen tools.

They were taken from home improvement stores on the city's northwest side.

It turns out the man had a preference, something that's pretty unusual for fencers.

“Usually some of these other fences take different products and everything, different types of brands,” Sergeant William Garcia said. “But you notice here, everything is strictly all DeWalt tools.”

The man will face organized retail crime charges. As for the thieves who stole the tools in the first place, police are still working on locating them.
