SAN ANTONIO -- A Good Samaritan who tried to help an accident victim, is now in need of help this morning.

Police said he became the victim of a hit-and-run while trying to help a driver on Wurzbach Parkway Road and Thousand Oaks.

This happened around midnight when a suspected drunk driver was involved in an accident.

According to police, the Good Samaritan flagged and warned traffic about the crash. Investigators say a red vehicle hit the victim, jumped the curb, drove into the grassy median and never stopped going.

A red Mustang also hit the victim who was lying in the roadway police said. That vehicle stopped.

The victim was transported to SAMMC in critical condition.
