SAN ANTONIO -- SAN LAN, San Antonio's largest Halloween video gaming tournament, is set for Saturday, Oct. 22.

The tournament will feature the biggest South Texas CS:Go Tournament, a special Halloween Edition where gamers from all over Texas will compete in an intense 12 hour marathon.

There’ll be prizes, raffle winners and the all new "best costume contest." It is the first time in the history of video gaming that 10 teams will compete against each other while impersonating video game characters or their favorite heroes. The winner of the “best costume contest” will be decided by the SAN LAN Twitter followers.

SAN LAN was established in 2003 as a collaboration of local gamers in the San Antonio area and it has successfully managed many events ranging between 30 and 200 attendees. Although SAN LAN took a hiatus as work and life got in the way of gaming, it is now back for good and based on current interest in gaming, SAN LAN is expected to grow exponentially.
